The goal of the Reva Educational Platform is to train the next generation of scientists in an analytical technique that can be applied to a variety of industries.  HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, NIR, and mid-IR spectroscopy are all widely used in arenas such as pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, petrochemistry, and food & beverage production. Most scientists are unaware of Raman spectroscopy, let alone its potential to complement or even replace all of those methods.  Reva seeks to bridge that gap by offering an easy-to-use Raman instrument as well as lab modules that introduce students to some of the applications of Raman and how they compare to other techniques.
